Our goal is to have street sweepers go through every county-maintained neighborhood at least two times a year.

Subdivision streets are designed to hold excess water when rainfall exceeds the amount the ditch system can handle, generally 1.5 inches per hour. The water will usually drain off quickly as the rainfall lessens or ends. Should the water remain for hours after the end of the rain, please fill out a service order requesting the ditches be evaluated.

County-maintained grassy areas are mowed on a rotating basis roughly every eight weeks, depending on the weather.

The County does not authorize speedbumps, speedhumps or rumble strips on county-maintained roadways as they can impede the timely progress of emergency vehicles.
