  • New Kentucky Park, located at 21710 FM 2920 in Hockley, is the historical location of the Abraham Roberts Homesite and Texas Army Route. Enjoy a picnic under mature oak trees and take in the sight of the Which Way Tree which is a spot where Sam Houston and his army rested on their way to San Jacinto. A small pavilion is available to reserve for a shady picnic. Additionally, this park hosts a tent camping site for Scout groups and nonprofit organizations.
