Formerly known as West 11th Street Park, this 2-acre pocket wilderness at 2400 West 11th Street is the largest tract of native Texas forest inside the I-610 Loop. The preserve features a rich understory and serene wooded trails. It serves as a haven for wildlife and visitors alike. Park amenities are maintained by Precinct 4, while the City of Houston maintains the preserve itself. Amenities include a baseball backstop, nature trail, community garden, and bird-watching site.
