Formerly known as West 11th Street Park, this 21-acre pocket wilderness at 2400 West 11th Street is the largest tract of native Texas forest inside the I-610 Loop. The preserve features a rich understory and serene wooded trails, serving as a haven for both wildlife and visitors. Park amenities are maintained by Precinct 4, while the City of Houston oversees the preserve itself. Amenities include a baseball backstop, nature trail, community garden, and bird-watching site.
