While there may not be snow on the ground, Precinct 4 is embracing the holidays all season long. From crafts and storytimes to festivals and movie nights, these free activities ensure there is something for the entire family to enjoy.

Holiday Symphony

  • Bayland Community Center

  • Wednesday, December 17 | 10 a.m.Noon

Enjoy a festive performance from a Houston Symphony trumpet quartet. Light refreshments will be available.

Nature Night: Holiday Crafts

  • John Paul Landing Environmental Education Center

  • Friday, December 19 | 4 – 6 p.m.

Join Precinct 4 naturalists and make environmentally friendly crafts for the holidays. All materials are provided.

Holiday Photos and Art with Santa Claus

  • Radack Community Center

  • Saturday, December 20 | 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Create holiday art and take a festive photo with Santa Claus to get in the holiday spirit. All materials are provided.

Cozy Holiday Movie & Cocoa Day

  • Freed Community Center

  • Saturday, December 20 | 1 – 3 p.m.

Enjoy a classic holiday movie with hot cocoa and festive treats.

Holiday Snow Slime and Storytime

  • Monday, December 22 | 5 – 6 p.m.

Listen to a winter-themed story and participate in a hands-on slime craft. All materials are provided.

Holiday Extravaganza

Celebrate Christmas, Kwanza, and Hanukkah by participating in festive crafts, games, and activities. All materials are provided.

Hot Cocoa and Holiday Crafts

Grab a tasty cup of hot cocoa while making colorful holiday crafts designed especially for kids. All materials are provided.

Decorating Holiday Cookies

Decorate sugar cookies and watch a festive holiday movie to celebrate the holidays. All materials are provided.

Holiday Letters to Santa

  • Freed Community Center

  • Tuesday, December 23 | 1 – 3 p.m.

Write and decorate a letter for Santa with gems, stickers, and more. All materials are provided.

Holiday STEM Activities

  • Hockley Community Center

  • Monday, December 29 | 10 – 11 a.m.

Build holiday-themed STEM projects like Santa ziplines and snowball catapults to practice engineering principles and celebrate the season through interactive learning. All materials are provided.

Snow Much Fun During the Holidays

  • Hockley Community Center

  • Tuesday, December 30 | 10 – 11 a.m.

Enjoy a Texas snow day by participating in snow-themed activities such as making snowman bath bombs and designing a sled. All materials are provided.

Kid’s New Year’s Eve Holiday Countdown

  • Hockley Community Center

  • Wednesday, December 31 | 10 – 11 a.m.

Make confetti launchers and play festive games to ring in the new year. All materials are provided.
