Kleb Woods provides a unique window into the environmental and cultural history of northwest Harris County. Visitors are invited to participate in A Closer Look at Nature and History classes for school-aged children, birding bus trips, History Discussion Groups, weekly bird walks, and more. Mark your calendar for our annual Hummingbird Festival in mid-September and Diggin’ Old Stuff in November. Farm tours are available by request for individuals and groups. Volunteer and troop service project opportunities are available.
NOTE: While we understand your desire to experience nature with your dog at your side, we must respectfully ask that you refrain from doing so at Kleb Woods Nature Preserve. Recent studies have shown that dogs, even those on leashes, drive other wildlife from the area. Our mission is to keep wildlife thriving at Kleb Woods, so park patrons of all ages can enjoy and learn more about the wonders of nature.
