Commissioner Lesley Briones has appointed Charmaine LeBlanc to the Harris County Animal Shelter Advisory Committee.

Charmaine is committed to serving her community, evidenced by her longtime membership on the Sharpstown Civic Association Board of Directors. Over the years, she has served Southwest Harris County in safety, special events coordination, neighborhood beautification, and, most recently, animal shelter volunteering. 

Charmaine is an active member of Lone Star Pawz and #TeamFeral, two animal rescue organizations in the Houston region. Through volunteering with these two organizations, Charmaine has become familiar with the issues regarding animal welfare and is ready to join the Veterinary Public Health Advisory Committee.
